Apple Sued for Copying Google Technology

Google took Apple, Inc to the Court of International Trade claiming infringement of several features that showed up in Apple’s iPhone technology. The supposed infringements were directed towards the method of preventing a user’s head from accidentally activating the touch screen while talking on the phone. The court did not find Apple guilty of infringement. If it had, Apple’s iPhones could have been banned from being imported into the U.S.
The smartphone industry has witnessed many lawsuits around the globe between Apple and its competitors that make smartphones using Google’s Android software. This probably won’t be the last time we see such disagreements go to court. Read more about one such case on Reuters: http://reut.rs/XRSwii
