Sponsorship Considerations and Agreements

Speaking at and sponsoring events are important in effectively growing your business. You do, however, need to pick the right events that are relevant to your business and your audience in order to make sure you receive return on your investment.
In addition to my sponsoring several events in the past, many of my own clients both sponsor and host events.  In order to assist me in deciding whether an event is worth my time, money, and effort to sponsor, I put together a checklist and thought it might be of interest  to my readers.
Click here to download the Sponsorship Checklist (scroll down on the right hand side) to help you determine if a certain sponsorship is right for you and your business.
Once you have picked a sponsorship, the host should require that you sign a sponsorship contract.  If you do not receive a contract for review from the event host, this may be a sign that you should not sponsor that event; that this host is not serious about their business.
Here is a video I just created while at Suzanne Evans’ “Be the Change” on sponsorship agreements: [youtube_sc url=”https://youtu.be/7iAaehdO78U” autohide=”0″]
If you are considering a sponsorship and have questions about your contracts (or anything else!), please contact us at the Law Office of Jason H. Rosenblum, PLLC https://jhrlegal.com/find-us/ to discuss the details first. It will be in the best interest of you and your business.
